After 30 years in business, Shelly's Playhouse is proud to expand with Rising Stars Nursery School. We encourage natural curiosity in a caring environment, using various manipulatives to promote investigation, play and discovery. We offer Nursery School and Summer Camp programs for 2-5 year olds. Occupying the former CEC space at the Manse Barn in Tappan, we have several well-equipped learning rooms and a fully fenced playground.
Toddler
The toddler program is an introduction to school for two year olds. The beginnings of socialization skills are paramount and one of our biggest goals.
Pre-school
The three year old program is all about listening, thinking, playing, and enjoying preschool. Active class participation and peer interaction are encouraged as a means of building social skills.
Pre-K
Designed to nurture the emerging young minds of our pre-k students, we aim to build independence and increase self awareness, ensuring they are well prepared for Kindergarten.
